I love the French

From a friend of mine in the spirit of Bastille Day, and dedicated to Dr Jim…
Be aware that the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from Run to Hide.
The only two higher levels in France are Surrender and Collaborate.
The rise was precipitated by a recent fire which destroyed France’s white flag factory, effectively paralysing their military.
ROFLMAO

Ex-CYOOZ-ay-MWAH! I said I love the French.
You asked two questions, and they weren’t simple.
Why are the comments bigoted? They reflect (whilst somewhat magnified and in a sarcastic way) historical fact. I’m not blindly poking fun at the French intestinal constitution, I’m doing it with an open mind
Perhaps you would have been happier if it was Italians, rather than French? Perhaps the Swiss?
Never mind, my family will be there prepared to die in your mud next time, too.
It was all done in the spirit of the celebration of regocide. Vive la république!

Can I ask a simple question? Why is it considered normal to make such bigoted comments?
Should we, French people, feel privileged to be treated so exceptionally?

That’s just “Jim” actually. It’s not like I’m a certain “an independent itinerant consultant, trainer and author” who insists on ramming his Ph.D. down his fellow geek’s throats in a techie metaphor of some 8mm 70’s porn film. Or is it…
